1.    Judging will be based by guidelines according to the Exhibiting Fruits and Vegetables publication number C-405, available at your local County Extension Office.

2.    Exhibits will be judged and ranked in each class according to merit. Ribbons will be awarded to the top three entries if there are sufficient entries to merit.

3.    Exhibits must have been grown and harvested during the 2020 season.

4.    Specimens need to be free from blemishes. Any produce that is unsatisfactory to show may be excluded by the superintendent.

5.    Wheat and Oats exhibits shall consist of 1 gallon, exhibited in glass jars (preferably large opening), belonging to exhibitor. Crop must be grown by the exhibitor in 2020. All entries must be made under the variety name.

6.    Wheat and Oats exhibits will be judged on the basis of seed quality, uniformity, commercial grade, and condition.

7.    Garden Display – Each exhibitor in this class will be limited to four square feet of space.  The Garden Display must be exhibited in a tray, basket or container that can be easily moved by the fair staff.  Exhibit consists of five different types of fresh vegetables or fruits.  Canned products and shelled vegetables are not acceptable.  Only one variety of each type of vegetable or fruit may be exhibited.

8.    Secure entry form to plate or container with string or able.  Use a sturdy plate, bowl or container that will support the weight of the produce.  Please have hybrid/variety and specimen name on entry card.

9.    Largest Tomato & Largest Zucchini premiums are as follows:

First place - $20;

Second place - $15;

Third place - $10.

Winner must pick up premium check by the end of the fair.

10.  Vegetables are judged on same size of product, same varieties on the plate, and equal number.

11.  Please take all extra vegetables with you if they are not being entered.
